End Polio Ute Relay in Norwood!

Rotary International has partnered with the World Health Organisation, UNICEF, The Centres for Disease Control and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to provide funding to eradicate Polio worldwide. To date only two countries are still showing active cases of polio: Pakistan and Afghanistan. Nigeria is celebrating 12 months free of any new cases. However, while polio still exists somewhere in the world, no country can be entirely safe from re infection. The raffle and the proceeds from fundraising events along the route of the relay will go towards this worldwide effort to eradicate polio

This year's End Polio Ute Relay starts in Broken Hill on Friday, 15th September and travels through three States.

From Broken Hill to the Sunraysia, the Riverland, Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula before it enters the Adelaide Metro area around 7th October and finishes on World Polio Day on the 24 October with raffle draw in Port Adelaide on board the One and All sailing ship.
